Hi there,
I just love loooooove making novelty cakes for children. Anything childish or colourful makes my day! Also, I learn many things about TV shows and films that I had no idea they existed! Like this Jake and the Neverland Pirates. I didn’t know who he was until I had to make his first cake!
Hope you like it!

Hi there,
A couple of months ago I made this two tier wedding cake for my friend’s colleague. She wanted exactly this design. Making the chalkboard effect tier was easier than I expected. I brushed the black fondant with a bit of icing sugar and painted the message with white food colouring powder diluted in clear alcohol.

Hi there,
Beauty and the Beast was one of my favourite Disney’s films when I was a kid. Since then, I’ve watched it countless times… And of course, I recently went to watch the new cinema version, which I really really loved!! Anyway, my cake is based on the cartoon movie from the 90′s.
Belle’s details (dress and roses) are fully made from buttercream and the Beast’s ones (horns and bow), out of fondant -with cmc-. There are several ways to pipe buttercream ruffles but I decided to use a leaf nozzle, piping from bottom to top. The roses are simple rosettes piped with a large open star tip.
Hope you get inspired by it!
See you soon,

Hi there,
This is the Sleeping Beauty cake that I made for a birthday party with this lovely theme. It was my favourite Disney film when I was a child!
Do you remember when the green Fairy (Fauna) tried to make Aurora’s 16th birthday cake without using her magic? That was a real mess! Not even her broom could hold the unbaked cake.
My design was inspired in Fauna’s wonky cake:
Hope you like it!
See you soon,

Hi there,
I’m back again!
Yesterday, I posted a selection of cute Thanksgiving cakes. Today I’m going to post a compilation of several ways to make easy sugar turkeys to decorate your cakes or cupcakes this season. You’ll find the source under each image.
If making a buttercream turkey, you can pipe the buttercream feathers with different nozzles.

If you prefer to use fondant rather than buttercream, look at this two easy ways to make the feathers:
Heart cutters to make the feathers and the beak.

Also, it’s a good idea to change the perspective and look a round cake from the side (instead of the top):

Or cut a round cake in half and make this “3D” turkeys…

It could be a cool and easy idea to make a pull apart cake (made out of cupcakes):
And now, I’ll show you how to make your turkeys out of popular candies and chocolates:

Hi there!
My friend Isabel is a passionate dog walker. Like me, she was a cake decorator, but she decided to change cakes, flour and sugar for the love, joy and loyalty that dogs bring. Few weeks ago she asked me to make some “leaving” cupcakes to say goodbye to some of the owners. Personally I am a big animal lover and I was so excited to make them. But I was even more excited to see these pictures that the dogs’ owners sent her when they received their gift! Omg, how adorable are they?? So cuuuuuute! Looooove!
What’s your favourite one? Are you in love with any particular dog breed? I love all these cuties! But look at the Pomerian’s eyes… Could they be more bright and playful? Aww!!
One of the dogs tried to eat itself… Really! lol. It’s impossible to cope with such a dose of cuteness!!
Have a lovely and doggie weekend!
